Kurt's turn in the review post

verschreibselGlee episode Laryngitis was pretty much awesome. I know a lot of people hated it and maybe it was because it was all over the place like Glee likes to be since it's back but still! It was cracky fun. Maybe I've learnt not to take Glee as serious anymore? I liked Mercedes and Puck because they were kind of sweet and Mercedes knew what she was in for and she ended it and maybe Puck learned a tiny lesson? I liked that they both knew what they were in for and it wasn't like he betrayed her or anything.
The Rachel and Finn storyline? Was actually kind of -dare I say it? - cute. I mean he cared for her and he found a way to show her her voice wasn't all there is to her. I enjoyed her not singing for once though. And really I wouldn't be "pulling my weight" either if Rachel threw a fit everytime someone else was in the spotlight.
And Kurt and Burt? Once again broke my hert in a good way. I love Kurt and you all know it and I'm slowly coming to realise that a lot of people dislike him because of how he acts. Sometimes childish and selfish and sometimes irrational. But I still love him because nobody is perfect and I sure as hell have acted immature and selfish for no good reason. But yes Burt once again handled Kurt's identiy crisis well. I only wish Kurt would finally get someone who would appreciate him and whom he could love. :| But I guess that's for season 2. Kurt's boyfriend better bring it! And once again Chris Colfer managed to capture Kurt's emotions perfectly. More about that in the song section.
Okay so Pink Houses was okay but not released for obvious reasons. Despite it not being Kurt's style he tried and it was okay. I think that's very in character. Of course I loved The Lady Is A Tramp. That outfit! Those steps! The voice! The song! Perfect and really hot actually. ;D And of course the jealous duet The Boy Is Mine oh memories. Yeah I really liked it. :) It was a bit cracky (I know I say that too much) but pretty good and I love Naya's and Amber's voice together. Of course I loved Rose's Turn what did you expect? :D I loved the acting, the emotion (oh god the emotion) and everything. I know a lot of Broadway buffs probably hated it but for hearing the song first in the Kurt version with changed lyrics I loved it. Sometimes I think it's better that I don't know some of the songs first before I hear them on Glee. Oh and Jessie's Girl another one of those songs that kind of brings back memories? I liked it well enough. Wish Jesse has been there though.
HIMYM episode Robots Versus Wrestlers was actually kind of good? Except that I didn't like the fart jokes because I'm just not into that sort of thing. But yeah I liked how Ted acted douchy. If they'd referenced Carole it would have been perfect. Not sure how I feel about the Marshall and Lily baby thing though. Shows that do the baby thing rarley find new stuff. There are problems with having kids, adoption or marriage crisis. Also of course the father freaking out during delivery, strange cravings and all those clichees. So I hope they don't do the thing were they have trouble having children or have them adopting. Saw it on Sex and the city and a bit on Friends. Enough for me. But I'm glad Robin joined the gang again!

ontd_lost so I'm just gonna post a theory here that I posted there:
I think MIB has powers to do with death and that's why he couldn't be the one to protect the light which was associated with life. Jacob has powers to do with living (making Richard immortal for example) so he's the opposite and the right guy for the job so to speak.
Since I think that Jacob's brother turned into Smokey and that Smokey didn't exsist because I think that the power Jacob's brother always had (seeing the dead) combined with the light stuff turned him into Smokey with powers relating to death so the exact opposite of Jacob's powers.
But yeah I stayed up for it and seeing Jacob turn from ~the man with the plan~ into a big ol' mamma's boy who is a total wuss was not pretty or worth staying up for. Feel my rage.
And yeah child!MIB is total pedobear bait.It kind of worked for me.
BBT episode The Plimpton Stimulation was okay I guess. I'm glad Howard and Bernadette are over although if I had liked them I probably would have been disappointed by how they broke them up. A simple "Oh btw me and Bernadette arne't together anymore" mh. Kinda lazy. But anyway I liked the episode and how Dr. Plimpton seduced all the guys haha. And how she was into role playing. So yeah maybe BBT is getting kinda good again?
