Movies for the long weekend
Jun. 5th, 2010 08:43 pmSo I said I was in a movie watching mood :D I still am tbh but I don't have anymore movies I want to watch.
10 Things I Hate About You
I rewatched it. Still a 8/10
17 Again
Super funny and it made me like Zefron. He's pretty hot in this movie. 7/10 Also a rewatch.
Shopaholic
Fun but not that much for me since I'm not into fashion so I can't go "Oh yeah I always do that!" not even a little bit. 6/10 still good. Oh and rewatch.
500 Days Of Summer
Yeah so I've been meaning to watch this but I had always assumed that I was going to hate it. I sort of found the begining pretty boring but it was a cute idea with the days. And some other ideas they had like expectations vs. reality etc. I liked it fine in the end but it was nothing too special for me. To me they were just trying too hard to me unique and edgy. 5/10
Valentine's Day
I actually expected this movie to suck A LOT. I'm also glad I forgot who was going to come out as gay because that was suprising. And sweet. If they had kissed it would have been even better. But yeah I expected to loathe this as a bad Love Actually wannabe. But it was actually kind of funny. I could have lived without some stories especially with most of what the teenage/kid actors did like Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift. Although that story was more played for laughs. But Emma Roberts (?) story for example. But there were so many familar faces in this one! The flight attendant was Lindsay from QAF I think. Which is why I didn't believe she was flirting with Holden on the plane. Oh well. Oh and Rossi from Criminal Minds! So many people like I said. And lol at Dempsy's role. You'd never believe that that guy was cheating. I mean come on I didn't believe it for one second. They needed to make him more evil. 7/10
You see a pattern? I love a good romantic comedy.
I also watched the Musical Commentary for Doctor Horrible. Well a bit since I had already listened to it on youtube and since the visuals have nothing to do with the songs it was kinda unnecessary.

The Hangover
It was okay and mildly funny at times but I don't get what everyone was raving about. 6/10
I knew something was missing.
